Sponsorship

Family Sponsorship: Canadian citizens and permanent residents can sponsor close family members, including spouses, children, parents, and grandparents.

There are several sponsorship programs in Canada:

  1. Spousal Sponsorship: A subset of family sponsorship, specifically for sponsoring a spouse or common-law partner.

  2. Parent and Grandparent Sponsorship: Allows Canadian citizens and permanent residents to sponsor their parents and grandparents.

  3. Other Relative Sponsorship: For sponsoring other close relatives in specific circumstances.

  4. Refugee Sponsorship: Private individuals, groups, or organizations can sponsor refugees to resettle in Canada.

Each sponsorship type has its own eligibility requirements and application processes. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, consult with us and the official Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website.

Super Visa

The Super Visa provides an alternative option for parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents who wish to visit their family members in Canada for an extended period. Instead of waiting for their sponsorship application to be approved and obtaining permanent residency, parents and grandparents can apply for a Super Visa to visit Canada multiple times over a ten-year period, with stays of up to two years per visit.
